Where to Find Lorroakan
To find Lorroakan, you’ll need to enter the city in Act Three and make your way to the shop called Sorcerous Sundries. Keep an eye out for Aradin, who, if still alive, will be outside causing a commotion. Have a chat with him, and you’ll discover that he’s there to see the wizard about the contract on Nightsong.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. You can either lie to Aradin about finding Nightsong or tell him the truth. If you choose to lie, he’ll demand a cut of the reward since he gave you the contract. You can either agree or use your wit to talk your way out of it. Once Aradin moves aside, you can enter the shop.
Which Portal Leads to Lorroakan’s Tower 🏰
Inside Sorcerous Sundries, make your way up the stairs where you’ll be greeted by Lorroakan’s Projection. This is where your knowledge of Nightsong comes into play. Four portals will open, and by examining the plaques beside them, you can solve the puzzle.
Remember, Nightsong is the daughter of Selune, so keep that in mind while choosing a portal. Interact with the first portal on the left, the blue one, and brace yourself. You’ll be transported to Lorroakan’s tower, where you’ll find the wizard preparing to shoot an apple off his assistant’s head.
But hold your horses! Before you can continue, Lorroakan will interrogate you about your knowledge of Nightsong. Depending on your progress with Gale’s personal quest and whether you have him with you, you may witness an epic wizard showdown. The ambition and knowledge of the two wizards will clash, and it’s quite a sight.
Lorroakan, with a grand plan to trap Aylin in his tower and gain immortality, hopes to harness Nightsong’s gifts. But she’s having none of it and refuses to be trapped again. Your task is simple—fetch Nightsong and have a little chat.
Bring Nightsong to the Tower 🌙
Head back to your camp and speak with Dame Aylin. Alert her to Lorroakan’s plans, and she’ll be ready to show her strength. Dame Aylin will race off to face him and set an example, while Isobel stays behind as convinced by Dame Aylin.
But wait! Make sure Dame Aylin is at full health since she doesn’t regain hit points during long rests. Give her a helping hand, and then it’s time to head back to Sorcerous Sundries. Enter the blue portal, and behold—the confrontation between Dame Aylin and Lorroakan.
This is where things come to a head. Lorroakan tries to reason with Nightsong, but she firmly stands her ground. There’s no room for compromise. Whatever your answers may be, the quest will not progress until you actually speak with Nightsong.
Siding with Nightsong ✊
Choosing to stand with Dame Aylin is the morally right option, my friend. But let me warn you, it’s the more difficult choice between the two. You’ll have to confirm that you’re turning against Lorroakan, and that will initiate a fight. Get ready to roll for initiative.
Fighting Lorroakan means going up against him, his assistant Krank, and four elemental Myrmidons. And here’s the kicker—Lorroakan can siphon power from these allies, making him hit harder and more frequently. So caution is advised. When you hit him, be prepared for a powerful counterattack from one of the elementals.
