On the board, they’ll find The Saga of the Seaside Inn request waiting for them. After accepting the job, they should pay a visit to a familiar face, Johnny. Little did they know that Yuffie’s clones have been helping Johnny renovate the hotel. However, a group of them went missing while gathering supplies in the Corel Region. Johnny needs your help to locate them and find out what happened.
All Corel Region Zipline Locations (Refurbishment Materials)
The first group of Johnnys can be found at Costa Falls in the Corel Region. They will inform you that they dropped their Refurbishment Materials while trying to escape some fiends. These materials are essential for their work. Your task is to ascend the nearby ziplines and retrieve the Refurbishment Materials from the platforms at the top. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with images showing the exact locations of all eight Corel Region ziplines. Once you have the materials, return to the Johnnys and get ready for the next step of the journey.
Boiler Valve Transmuter Chip Location
Upon arriving at a Republican-era factory in the Corel Region, you’ll learn that the Johnnys require a Boiler Valve. To make one, they need a special transmuter chip. Thankfully, you may have already obtained it by scanning the first two Corel Region Lifesprings. If you have, the Excavation Intel 1: Valve Factory Ruins World Intel objective will be unlocked. Use your trusty Chocobo to dig up the Boiler Valve Transmuter Chip, along with a few other surprises. To transmute the Boiler Valve, you’ll need two pieces of Iron Ore, two pieces of Zinc Ore, and two pieces of Amethyst. Don’t worry about finding them; they can be foraged nearby. Time to put those mining skills to use!
How to Get to the Corel Desert in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Once you hand over the Boiler Valve to the Johnnys, you’ll discover that another Johnny headed towards the Corel Desert. Journey west to the quest marker, and there you’ll find Johnny standing near the water’s edge. He’ll have an unusual request for you – steal a Tonberry King’s Crown. To fulfill this request, you’ll need to set foot in the Corel Desert. Hold on tight, though! If you haven’t reached Chapter 9 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth yet, accessing the Corel Desert will be impossible. So, if you find yourself still in the Dustbowl/Gold Saucer phase of the game, you’ll have to be patient and return to this quest later.
Tonberry King Location (All Corel Region Lifesprings)
Before encountering the fearsome Tonberry King, you’ll need to scan all the Lifesprings in the Corel Region. These Lifesprings can be found not only in the desert but also throughout the region. Scanning them will unlock the Classified Intel: Heavy Lies the Crown World Intel objective, located to the east of the Corel Desert. Once you arrive, hold down the Triangle button to lure out the Tonberry King, just like you did with Quetzalcoatl during the Where the Wind Blows side quest in the Grasslands. Gear up, equip your Steal Materia, and prepare for a thrilling battle against the Tonberry King. Remember, this won’t be a walk in the park, so bring your A-game!
